Sonnie Njau
Inspired by Frederick Douglass’ timeless words, “It is easier to build a boy than to repair a broken man,” Sonnie Njau founded Men Impact Change (M.I.C.) over a decade ago in response to the growing national crisis facing boys and young men. Her vision is bold and clear: to transform how they discover purpose, shape identity, and define manhood through positive masculinity, workforce pathways, and purpose-driven leadership.
Under her visionary leadership, Men Impact Change has evolved into a globally recognized movement, honoring more than 120 Legends and Men of Impact while directly transforming over 1,000 boys and young men. Through this platform, Sonnie has designed and launched transformative initiatives, from dynamic entrepreneurship programs and a pioneering Design Thinking Workshop introduced at the height of the pandemic, to cutting-edge AI Workshops in 2024, alongside critical Mental Health and Leadership development programs.
Most recently, she launched the Men Impact Change Podcast, amplifying the voices of boys and remarkable men of impact whose stories and leadership have too often been overlooked. In addition, Sonnie serves as CEO of Global M.I.C. Entreprises, where she equips founders, entrepreneurs, and business professionals with executive coaching, leadership development, and high-impact visibility strategies, enabling them to scale their ventures, elevate their influence, attract investors, and expand their global footprint. Grounded in executive leadership training from the Yale School of Management, eight years of corporate experience, and seven years in higher education – including service within a President’s Office – Sonnie leverages both professional excellence and lived experience to empower those around her. A true catalyst for lasting change, she lives by the wisdom of Myles Munroe: “Great leaders are measured by the success of their successors.” Her life’s work is rooted in catalyzing generational transformation, equipping boys and young men to lead with integrity, vision, and enduring impact.
