Julius currently serves as a Legislative & Intergovernmental Affairs Specialist for the Minority Business Development Agency. Prior to this role, Julius worked at 1863 Ventures as the Director of Community, Techstars DC as an Investment Associate and gener8tor as Chief of Staff/Director of Special Projects. In these roles he led efforts to deliver growth-oriented funding, support, tools, and resources, to socially economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs and to champion strategies for sourcing, investing, and supporting diverse high growth startups located in traditionally undercapitalized markets. Julius also previously worked as a Supervisory Partnership Specialist at the United States Census Bureau and as an Adjunct Faculty member within the Earl G. Graves School of Business at Morgan State University. He holds a J.D. from University of Baltimore School of law, M.A. from Bowie State University and B.A. in Quantitative Methods, economics minor, from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
